WASHINGTON and WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Almost half of the trial mortgage modifications converted to permanent modifications for distressed homeowners under the Treasury Department's Home Affordable Modification Program are attributable to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC, the principal subsidiary of Ocwen Financial Corporation .
